MotoGP » Nakamoto talks Stoner, Pedrosa, Marquez and more!

"We held a farewell party for Casey Stoner after Valencia. When the party was over, the two of us stayed on, chatting, and I found I couldn't control my tears... Everyday Casey came up with something new that astonished us" - Shuhei Nakamoto (Honda).

Honda got it right in 2010, when allegedly they poached some techs from Yamaha. After that they have had the best bike, bar none.

Dani and Casey are great riders, Casey is probably faster, but if Dani can keep his edge who knows how many poles he can take.

Me thinks the engineers and technicians and how the approach the tires are more significant to a bike's potential than the rider who sits on an almost finished product.

Bautista would maybe have a chance to make better results if only you gave him the permission to use proper suspensions, like he publicly requested them Nakamoto San. Instead he'll be the unique rider with Showa when everyone else rides with Ohlins.

THIS!

"We were constantly shocked that the bikes we had made could go so fast when Casey was in the saddle. When Casey is confident and relaxed about his riding, there is nobody in MotoGP who can come close."

So Casey is wavering? Get a third Repsol polished up for mid-2013 Nakamoto-san.

Return of the king. Let us hope!

Incredible that Honda top brasses/ engineers hold Casey in such regard...the only other time i can remember hearing similar comments was when Ayrton Senna raced for Mclaren Honda....incredible talents both of them
