Just crossing my fingers here that Vale's magic comes back. Ducati last couple of years was a dog, right? Remember Rossi's move on that final corner against Lorenzo, simply glorious. Can't believe that was so long ago. I just want to see that spirit one more time.

" come on babe, one more for the road..." one hell of a season it will be and Stoner in the mix will be sorely missed... Good luck Vale...

Go Rossi!!

To the haters...keep it up because there are limited sleeps left before you will have to post with a more humble attitude.

To the posters trying in desperation to use the ambition line in some whitey manner, your failing poorly.

To the fake stoner fans highlighting the only 2 win less years for ducati as the "rossi years", the era of back to back WC will also be known as the "rossi years"... no one since has been good enough!

@Nobody is more pleased to see those photos than Nicky Hayden.

Now Ducati can focus and start winning races again.

The only years Ducati have failed to win a race in the last decade are the Rossi years.

WHat??
so its Rossi's fault Hayden has won any races on Ducati, you saying now that he's gone hayden will start to win..

@Radu you are a prime example of a delusionist, when Vale hasn't got the pace anymore all he has left is publicity stunt's and there will be plenty of that this season as there won't be any wins

I love reading all these comments more than the article itself especially anything to do with rossi, it starts off on subject then goes off into a tangent but it's all good fun. I'm a Rossi fan myself but do respect all the other points of view, even the stoner fans and that's saying something. Yes he is a great but only seen that way since Rossi failed on the duke, so obviously they did at some point believe that Rossi could win on anything. He is only human. Sorry to bring up the fisherman by the way since this was a Yamaha post and now I've gone off in a tangent, this sucks!!!!

@ Rossi earned 18 million riding for Ducati per season roughly one million per race add the bonusses up to it and although he wasn't winning he had a better paycheck then Lorenzo had.

And? He is now back at Yamaha making four times less than Lorenzo.

Rossi has far more pressure than Lorenzo. Lorenzo has been the lead rider for the last two years, they seemed to work out just fine for him (contrary to the popular belief that when Rossi left Yamaha would go down hill). Rossi is as much a threat to Lorenzo as Stoner was, so nothing has changed.

Rossi has something to prove more so than Lorenzo, especially if he wants to keep up his hat and T-shirt sales.
