This guy is very very quick, but is also a hot-headed loudmoth! I saw some AMA last year. and he was pulling some crazy moves ( last to the lead in 3 laps ), but his attitude stank. Not the sort of charachter that's easy to work with or usually gets a seat in GP where ability to keep cool is so important...... should be fun to watch though :-)

I really don't know why, but I would love to see him in MotoGP for a whole season... If nothing else, he's great to watch, when you look to style of riding... :) And last year it was a big difference between Josh Hayes Yamaha and Blake Young's Suzuki, which was far worse than that Suzuki bike, which was used by Michael Jordan team....

actually its pretty clear Suzuki have a **** bike and have had one for a while. Yamaha own AMA, despite Hayes probably being the best rider. Blake is just pissed cause hes gotta race Herrin whose probably not as good as him but you wouldn't know given the disparity between the two bikes. AMA needs more competition, Suzuki only ever really look good when they have something to draft. Both Suzuki and Honda are due a better bike.

Whether it be a wild card, prototype, crt or any of the 2 classes, the more americans on the grid the better because it send a message to the american market. Now only if Dorna have the guts they'll step up and properly market motogp in america.

In the case of Blake Young, its nice to see him get a wild card ride, though I would've prefer it been Danny Eslick.

Blake really is on par if not a better rider than Hayes. The ama gsxr really is a few steps down compared to the r1. Any one that has ever met Blake would tell you he is driven, but he is not arrogant or brash as some here elude to. If you want that just look at Hayes' teammate. If Blake were on the other factory r1, I think it would be josh Hayes being runner up a couple years in a row. Go Blake, and maybe he can still get a full season ama sbk ride on a good bike. Since the arms changed sbk formulas, any good bike with a great team, and an even better rider will be right in the thick of the championship. Especially if Hayes returns to crashing regularly as he usually does.
