Will Andrea Dovizioso, Nicky Hayden, Ben Spies or Andrea Iannone achieve something Valentino Rossi could not - win a MotoGP race for Ducati?

If the 2013 Ducati is similar to the 11 and 12 then even Casey could not do it, Honda and Yamaha are simply by far superior for now. It may be that in MotoGP Ducati have only won 17% of all MotoGP races in the last 10 years but in World Superbikes it is the other way around. Since the start of WSBK Ducati have won over 70% of all championships. Ducati must be doing something right in MotoGP since ultimately it exists for the benefit and development of road going machines which are winning 70% of championships in the case of Ducati.

Hi Aussie.
I agree the Ducati has (even if unlikely) a chance of winning do you not think Andrea will not take a chance if he sees one, with the exception of Nicky NO ONE has seen any of the other riders on the bike they are all new to Ducati and what little practice they've had was hardly in perfect conditions.
Last year I and a lot of others thought Casey had the championship done and dusted with his only competition JLo. Not so if we are being honest his main competition was Dani.
Just because Rossi failed miserably does not mean that a young talented and hopefully an ambitious new crew can't get up there later on in the season.

Anyone that thinks Stoner would be win less on this bike in 2011 or 2012 or even 2013 is delusional...

4 straight wins on Ducati at Phillip Island then 2 more on the Honda and the last one was with one leg... :)
