Cases still gets a lot off comments even when he is no longer in Motogp. Also the fact the Honda would welcome him back unlike another former rider says a lot about the man and his skill by people who are best to judge, unlike us amateurs.

shouldnt this be in the V8 super cars section seeing as he dont race mgp anymore. I see he still gives mixed messages, dont believe what the press tell you even though thats exactly he goes and does, its a bit like his "im not retiring............ oh by the way..." media master class.

and so Dani Pedrosa beat CS in the lower class.SO WHAT DO THOSE STATS TELL YOU??!that a certain rider who was best equiped could beat some poorly equiped ones, but when the slight fortune of decent bike came their way, like Casey's,those big boys suddenly looked like fools being smashed regularly let alone being reversed by role.-that's the fact.

Good point, the days of one rider on the best equipment and tyres dominating are long gone, with a level playing field between 4 riders this year it will be interesting to see how he goes.

I predict he will struggle to win a race, no hope for the championship, the competition is just too hot even without his nemesis Stoner.

@Bo I am not the first and this includes professional commentators, ex racers etc to observe that Stoner wants super clean passing etc, like Lorenzo which is why it was these leading the spray at Simo (RIP). It will be interesting to see Lorenzos view of Marquez who doesn't mind "aggressive" riding. As for V8 Supercar there is paintswapping often so it is more how he will react rather than the other drivers, which is not to question his skills purely his mentality.

As for Rossi wining a race or consistently standing on the dias you may be right but it sounds like what you want rather than the likely reality.

None of the riders like being passed aggressively although some of them do it....

I seem to remember Rossi getting really angry after some hard passes in a race and trading blows with another rider after the race - Biaggi I think so no don't think it is just Stoner however your original comment wasn't about hard passes it suggested he didn't like riding with other riders at all, just ridiculous really!

As far as I am concerned the more riders in contention for race victories the better the viewing, after the last 2 years it seems doubtful Rossi will be one of them.
