“The four of us are the favourites, but there can always be surprises and so I don't like to make predictions” – Jorge Lorenzo.

Max Biaggi and Lorenzo are a trip.

If you look at their style and the way they like to setup the bike it seems as though they prefer a very unstable bike that likes to stay in line. Unfortunately with the power of the new motors and the power of the carbon brakes, this philosophy brakes down and you ultimately limit yourself to that kind of philosophy.

@Danni finishes above Rossi

Umm...that's cute, and even though it's true, Rossi has still won more races over that period (2006 on). Pedrosa scored more podiums and more points from fewer starts, but so what?

rossi came 6th last season on a bike he didn't get on with

Bull5hit, try Rossi rode the bike to the finish without putting himself in danger and capitalised on the misfortunes of triers like Cal Dovi Stefan Alvaro and sometimes Nicky,If said guys had rode safe races Rossi would have been lucky to get in the top 10.

All you guys that are confident that Rossi and Marquez are gonna win the champiolnship please get down to the bookies and place your bets,my monies going on Dani and I could do with your money lenthening his odds a bit more

Drop the control Tire rule and we will see who the best riders are...If BS can design a tire to suit CRTs then they should be able to design different tires for all 3 factory prototypes.

Pedrosa is the guy with nothing to lose and in my mind that makes him the most dangerous of the four. His pace in the last third of the season last year was better than anyone. Marquez is a question mark. He may be really fast right out of the gate, but I suspect that without a lot of setup help from Pedrosa's side of the shop he will have a hard time getting to grips early on with the sheer pace and understanding what a 250hp MotoGP bike wants over race distance. His decision making had better improve that much is certain. Rossi? Who knows how well he will fit back in? He is now playing second fiddle to Lorenzo on this team. That has to be strange for him, especially since he is trying to find his way back from the wilderness. Golden opportunity for Cal? Only if he gets the good stuff from Yamaha which, if you beleive what is written in the press, he will not.

would also add qualifying as rossi 'weakness', although rossi uses this more for race setup which kind of negates it as a disadvantage. I think lorenzo knows who his MAIN rival will be this year,..."Let's Get IT ON...!!!"
