Do not forget Rossi's mental state, he is not going to push to the limit in a race fight. He has memories of his good mate and his own mortality.(fear of his own serious injury)This will hold him back he is really racing for his own ego and money. All riders have input on the setup of the bike not design.Rossi and Stoner could assess a bike in one lap that is why your saw them do so many in out laps during practice. Yes I know because I have been in pitlane. Oh yea some of you so called racers should try turning your bikes on co's you utter complete crap.

Yes, I'm sure we might see a couple interesting races before Caramello gets the script juuuust right! With a little tweak here and a rule change there, I'm sure we can get the 'pivotal character' the advantage back that he's always needed to fool the fans of the two wheeled version of the 'Truman' show.

"Why I have the feeling that it might well be another version of the everlasting story of the two men battle, won by the the third one ? "

Like people assuming 2013 will be between Lorenzo and Pedrosa but Rossi will actually become the champion?

I dont get this Rossi "wont push the limits" bulldust! A Carbon Fibre framed Prototype and a YAMAHA M1 are 2 different animals completley. If he does (crack under pressure) it will be evident from the start. He should pack it in and go home.

Catalunya 2009, laguna Seca 2008, tells me he won't but I guess time will tell.

Valentino will push the Yamaha and will push to win the championship! The Yamaha is a bike Valentino loves to bits, he feel comfortable riding it and he feels safe! The Ducati was the total opposite for Valentino and he hated every second he was on the thing! Nobody is going to deliberately push a bike that he knows full well is going to end up in the gravel, or worse still, cause serious if not fatal injury!! Valentino is a very, very intelligent man and nobody, but nobody needs to tell him what to do when it comes to riding a motorbike. The Ducati story had all sorts of problems that even we know nothing about, so in my opinion, Valentino couldn't wait to tell them where to shove their bike, much the same as Casey did, but of course, because Casey flogged himself into the ground in desperation, he gets a much better write up at the end of the day!! Valentino knows better!!
