"Dani is still improving as a rider. We believe we can continue from last year's results and we believe we have a big chance to win the championship this year" - Shuhei Nakamoto, HRC.

He has had that bike developed around him since 2006 (exept for the Casey years) and achieved not very much.
He can be fast if the planets all line up in his direction, but falls apart to easily and isnt capable of putting a season long challenge together
If he couldnt do it last year with Stoner injured and Rossi on the Ducati I dont think he will do it against Lorenzo, Rossi on a competitive bike and Marqueze taking regular good points hauls.

Thats how I see it anyway

interesting point sidevalve, but this is an adjustment to gp year for marquez and I doubt he will be finishing ahead of pedrosa more than just a once or twice. Let me ask you guys this though, who would you rather have instead of pedrosa, bautista who after 3 years in gp finally earned his first podium? or bradl who has yet to score a top 3 finish? Dovi already had his shot with repsol and given the talent pool to choose from, I'd say hrc would be fools to drop pedrosa. every year he's been improving. This is a big year for him and the end of 2012 he has shown what he can do.

although I'm not his biggest fan, I'd say should crutchlow stick with gp and if a few years down the road pedrosa bottoms out and has still not won a championship, give crutch a chance with a factory. Spies and dovi have been with factory teams and had one win over their respective spans. That being said, crutch will have to show more than what he was capable of last year and actually progress and be a consistent podium heel nipper/front row starter to be picked by a factory squad.

Always said Dani was the most underated rider in MGP. Honda's quote that he must produce this season or he's out is so effen out of line it's unheard of. Lost all respect that I had for management.

Dani's "big chance" of winning the title is the same "big chance" that another 3 riders also have! There is only the 2 factory Hondas and the 2 factory Yamahas that have "any chance"!!!!

Since Dani has come to MotoGP they're saying every new season that he has a big chance....
Fact is he doesn't.
You have to be consistent the whole season not only the last races.
Dani's chance of winning the championship is as big as a Ducati win this year.

Flattered by the best bikes all his career, rules changed to suit him with the 800s, still no wins.

I hope Marquez fails similarly, he had a massive machinery advantage last year.
