Casey Stoner leaves the door ajar on the possibility of one day making a return to MotoGP despite confirming his move to V8 Supercars for the 2013 season

I think Casey's just a very sensitive young man, I don't mean that as an insult either. The fact that a sport like MotoGP is overwhelmingly about 'the money' just doesn't mesh with a diehard racer like Stoner, he only enjoys one very specific portion of the circus, the sporting part. The fame, fortune and glitz part is absolutely at odds with his very being. Based on his words, if he sticks to them, we'll never see him back in GP.

Was Stoner the only Motogp rider who was not at Simoncellis funeral?
No.So why do you and others attack him and say nothing about the others who were not there?
Seems like people just love to make up reasons to post crap about Stoner at every opportunity.

Personally,i think there is more chance of the sky falling down as there is of Stoner returning to the track on 2 wheels.

Caseys gone ...and he aint comin back...despite the Crash headline he says himself theres NO chance of coming back the way he sees MotoGP going. Despite all that MotoGP offers, hes's not willing to compete as things are. good job all the riders aren't so demanding!
He's gone, forget about it and move on....

Make yr mind up philR1. You complain that Casey can't keep his mouth shut but accuse him of not speaking up. I guess that if he had spoken up at the time he would be accused of whingeing again by the d...heads.
I hope he can have along & happy career in V8 racing.
All I can see wrong with Casey's statement is the use of the royal we. How many people were on his scooter when "we" were spat at?

well Casey. to gain respect, you have to give respect..
an you have not.. constantly complaining and more specifically crying "I don't get any respect", only makes you out to be a whining lil bich, an nobody respects that!

love the way you ride, and respect the way handel yourself on a bike, but you seriously need to grow up, and learn what NOT to say, especially about the sport that has given you so much.

I have just read a number of threads and are quite frankly disgusted including with that twit with the 8 year old. You either like or dislike Stoner, that is what happens when you are in the public eye. I for one cannot stand him but still respect him for his craft yet you people refer to me as scum because i dont like him. Well straight back at you (including the twit with the 8 year old in case i was not clear).
