If he wins then it's shame on him for he could only take on young kids and not man enough to meet his equals. If he loses then he's shamed as an old guy getting thrashed by new young kids. He should have followed Furusawa into retirement two years ago.

As perhaps a few of you will know, I'm a supporter of CRT & fed up with the Factory's making MotoGP the farcical circus it is now.

The irony for me is that, if Rossi DOES get blown away by 'the kids' who have adapted to ride the electronic-laden kit better than he has, then he might just be wishing for a CRT field. Why?

Rossi has long said that he'd prefer the bikes to be without the Electronics, let the riders 'feel' & skills have the control. Rossi clearly believes that he'd be in with a much stronger shout if the bikes demanded more rider input, & less laptop input.

IF Rossi is right about his ability over rivals on simpler bikes, then if MotoGP was all CRT, Rossi's chances of winning races and potential WC's would be a lot higher than they are now! Funny eh?

Rossi has said that the reason he failed on the Ducati was because he, and his team, were unable to tune the bike into the way he wanted, and that he was unable to alter his riding style to suit the bike. Honourable words in my view.
If the headline was " I expect to get at least 5 wins " imagine the comments on here.
The guy thinks that he'll be competitive but has no way of knowing how competitive he'll be. He knows full well that Dani and Jorge will be riding all out to beat each other, so he's not going to find it easy.
I've no thoughts on Marquez's contribution, we will have to see.

One of the reasons Stoner quit was because of the CRT initiative. Ungrateful Stoner detest CRT and you should too!

1. You have NO idea of all the reasons CS quit, any more than the rest of us. he liked the very fastest bikes to ride for sure, but for all we know it could have been the mass of electronics taking his skill away, and the politics within the sport & many other things.

2. CS disliked CRT simply because he disliked ANYTHING that was slower than his factory Missile and could get in the way on a fast lap. He seemed happy enough to talk to riders like Ellison about them.

3. MotoGP cannot GET any other Mfr's to look seriously at MotoGP due to the way it is. If nothing else CRT showed that there ARE alternatives. You are just too 'hard of thinking' to appreciate that. CRT's aren't that slow either - in its 1st season a CRT ran a faster race pace than Rossi's winning time at Mugello in 2007 for example. Was Rossi 'slow' then?
