The old fella got lapped in his last race! No chance of winning another race in moto gp.
Once Marquez gets used to the moto gp class, even a podium will be only a distant fading memory.

It will be a spanish whitewash this year.

Jorge is too quick for this old Rossi. Vale isn't the same rider he was before. He knows it.

Rossi is 2009's news. Marquez will be the new gun once he adapts.

Marquez v Lorenzo v Pedrosa will be 2013.

Easy to determine whom all the “squids” are by way of their derogatory comments. It is readily apparent you have never had the balls to step out on the track with two wheels and therefore have absolutely no idea what it takes to race a motorcycle at even an amateur level, much less at 200+ mph against the best the world has to offer. To do it at such a high level for so many years, Valentino Rossi deserves respect at a minimum for his achievements. The mere fact that he is continuing on and eager to again be competitive is fantastic. Godspeed Vali, I for one have every confidence you will return to your winning ways, your abilities are second to none. Your love for the sport and self deprecating humility coupled with your unmatched success, we undoubtedly will never witness again in this sport in our lifetimes. You have been a great pleasure to watch for the last decade plus.

Self deprecating humility?
Clearly someone doesn't own a dictionary, cause even though Valentino might have many things, this is one he comes up painfully short on.
With years of results that would send most riders back to their domestic championship, he's somehow(?) been given a chance to see if he can even manage a result on the best bike out there, he has no option but to play it coy, but you never ever mistake that as humility.

Of course you'll never see humility in him, its well established that you hate the guy. You mean 2 years of bad results.
Fortunately he had well over a decade of getting some of the best results in history so its hardly surprising he's been given another ride on the yamaha.

Most people have found his humour and celebrations to be in good taste and amusing, because he just looked like he was having fun out there.
