Aoyama is a great racer and a good dude. People might say "Oh! He shouldn't be ridin' them damn dirt bikes!"

I think dirt ridin' ability is important to goin' fast on tarmac. Ever wonder what Ricky Carmichael could have done road racing?

they ride the dirtbikes more to stay sharp in the winter break.
just because Ricky Carmichael's good on the dirt wouldn't have meant he would have been good on the tarmac
