I don't think Casey will be back and I don't want him to come back. An amazing talent, probably the "fastest" ever but his mouth often outweighs his brain.
Keep pointing that finger of blame Casey but remember that there are three fingers pointing right back at you.

I also disagree with Casey's comments regarding the handling of Simoncelli's death. I thought it was handled with a lot of taste and with the content length of mourning/celebration.

Casey is just living up to his reputation as a bit of a moaner. Don't get me wrong, I feel his talent was incredible, one of the fastest ever, but he really does come across as a bit of a wet blanket sometimes.

it appears that no one can understand a word casey says , how hard is it to see he is not talking about the riders?
honestly are people really so thick!!
i ain't even going to bother explaining it out anymore because THICK is impenetrable.

Yes, I as a fan wanna see BIFF AND BARGE and I am not ashamed of it. If Stoner can't handle it, he has full right to retire and never come back. However, for me it's a pleasant thing, that his seat is taken over by a spectacular fighter, not by another moaner.

Totally agree with Simon in regards to Casey's Simmo comment. We'll never forget him, all fans of the sport were deeply saddened by his passing and still are.

He may of had a point with the other stuff (not that i ever witnessed people trying to push him off his scooter...although i did ask for a signature on my shirt...surprise surprise he didn't stop in the paddock whereas Vale did and signed my wifes lid)

We want combative racing, we want people fighting for the win but that doesn't mean we want anyone hurt. You can fight for a win without trying to kill each other. WSS used to be a prime example of that.

Dacron:Think that Stoner was hopefully misunderstood, all the riders were effected by the passing of Simoncelli but it is either badly worded by him at best and a little naive also to think/imply Simoncelli is forgotten when fans are wearing his merchandise at race tracks and supporting the foundation set up in his name.

Nobody, including Simon took any of his other comments to task, one of the great things about Stoner other than his ability was his confidence to say what he really thought.

It is interesting to see another riders point of view on something a lot of people have been discussing, Simon gave his opinion eloquently and it will no doubt be discussed and debated in the same way the original interview with Stoner was, that's a part of free speech and debate is healthy.

A slow clap surely - but a crazy sensationalist headline only brings out the keyboard warriors so perhaps not a bad thing, maybe we can have a civilized debate for a change?

well said julian. i think the fact that stoner can say 'we lost a rider' without even being able to say his name and not bothering his ar$e to even show face at his funeral speaks volumes. i was lucky enough to have a paddock pass for silverstone in 2011 and almost everyone gave up time for the fans (especially bautista immediately after his post race de brief took time to show us round his garage and explain all about the bike and how over the weekend is is virtually a new bike every day). stoner couldnt be ar$ed giving anyone the time of day all weekend. its no wonder he gets the reputation he does.
ive only ever done club racing and track days and will never have the talent or skill or any of these guys, but in a worldwide sport that makes you a fortune and super famous you really need to not be a d1ck with those that love the sport you do
