yup, despite the lack of development and funds for those bikes to really mature, the motors are holding them back big time. If they were on a different schedule, something closer to WSBK, they would have a much better shot.

I cant see why they wont let teams rebuild their motors, its probably cheaper than trying to build a motor thats perfect and so expensive that it would cost more than 4-10 rebuilds.

Its like the whole people believing cause fuel tanks are 30% smaller in F1 that fuel efficiency will be that much as well, pure idiocy.

Far out boys, let's put this into perspective a little, these guys are starting from scratch with a new ECU. The times for day 1 shouldn't be even close to what they should be by the time the official prototype test is complete. Whilst they can never be faster than the top rider's prototype times, I'd be expecting these times to be shaved dramatically in the coming days as they tune their new controllers to the riders preferences.

They're calling for rain, rain, and more rain this week in Sepang. Why do they bother to go there.

If the test is rained out they should get a make up test.
