there are two timeline for ducati...

1. before 2011
people say the bike is the best on the grid, the fastest bike, the fearsome...advantage to stoner whatever bla bla bla...

2. after 2011
its ducrappy...ducati is bad...ducati is SLOW...

I bet people can change their mind so quick right...

Is that you casey ?
Do you really believe that or is it just sour grapes ?
Lets be a bit more realistic, 07 they got lucky and got the jump on the rest but also had the benefit of tyres produced to suit the bike. After that season others closed the gap and when the tyres were the same for everybody other manufacturers did a better job of building a bike to suit the tyres available. Check the results, casey's got worse each year after 07, and I'm not knocking him in the slightest as I would put the blame firmly at ducati's door, I personally think casey did a phenomenal job on a bike that was getting worse (compared to others) each year after 07.

That last comment was spot on.. That was just the way it happened in my eyes.. Stoner 07.. Then it all when to peices.. Other teams developed their machinces to catch the duck.. They caught it They beat it. So Stoner jumped ship to go to honda which was a better bike we all knew that at the time.. Then stoner had the nerve to slate rossi for going to a better team.. But he was just going back to where he came from ... And now we know he was right...he's back he's made that quiet clear.. Looking forward to some more decent racing this season.. Mabey not always winning but you better beleive rossi will be in the mix again..Good luck vale

It's not just the tyres,it's the engine limits too, once ducati had to make their engines last longer they lost the speed advantage, which was the big advantage they had in 2007

Rossi is the doctor cos he can make ANY bike work... Or is that Jerry Burgess?

Trust me, the Dr ain't back, he'll be there or there abouts but it'll be a very different Rossi.
