Completely predictable so far. I'm sure Rossi will get the odd podium when one of the three aliens craps out, but challenge for the championship just aint gonna happen.

@RSMick Remember it's a test, riders are trying out different settings trying to find good setups, so it's not always indicative of the season to come. Marquez and Pedrosa tested here last year and Lorenzo has been on the bike for the last two seasons while Rossi hasn't, so they have prior tests to pick up where they left - Rossi is basically starting from scratch here.

Wow Marquez, not just fast but on pace straight away. You need blazing speed and incredible precision to challenge for wins and he's showing he might have the stuff to shake things up at the front.

2 Respols and JLo trading wins, deja vu but hopefully with a little more action.

"handed a WINNING bike to Rossi who took the EXACT same bike and went two seconds per lap slower"

If you bother to check the RACE lap times from early 2011 you will see Vale was about HALF a second slower than Casey was on the Ducati. Before they started modifying it to hell.

It's interesting to note that Rossi's quickest lap was set earlier in his run, lap 30, compared to the 3 in front who all set their fastest times at the end of their runs.

Excellent pace from Marquez, love to see 4 of them in a scrap at the front at some stage during the season.

Remeber its the FIRST test and they are all still well off the true pace. Expect 2 riders to drop some time if it stays dry and lets see if others can maintain the gap. The men have not been separated from the boys yet...

prof-x, you're just the bigger MM hater around here.
You can't stand the guy or what is your problem?

Get used to see him at front and read some headlights over him in the next years.
