Rossi he will close that 0.5 seconds gap very soon. He knew -and publicly said- he wouldn't be as fast as Lorenzo or Pedrosa straight away, and that he would need to work hard during the year to match them. The truth is a 0.5 gap is a good start, and as he gets more and more confident on the bike he loves, he can only improve. Anyway there still one day of testing left so let's see what happens tomorrow.

Did anyone notice that while yes, Rossi is 4th, he is only.07 of a second faster than Nicky Hayden on the ducati on one of the longest tracks on the calender?....

Rossi haters still trying to convince themselves that he is not going to battle with these guys.. its quite comicle..

in racing .5 is nothing, all it would take to close that gap is for the front guy to make a mistake, either be run wide and have a tank slapper, or no grip left in the tyers..

thats one thing most of you forget, who is going to mange their tyers better to last a race. its not just all about who can cut the fastest 1 lapper here and there. look at how many poles your fisherman took and didnt win the race..

@mattbloke.

yer ok, and how many times did Hayden Qualy infront of Vale yet Vale finished ahead of him come checkerd flag.

Rossi will qualy on front and 2nd row alot this season. he's never been the qualifying machine that Jlo or Pedro is. he knows how to battle, if he gets passed he fights straight back, not like jlo or pedro, they pass each other and sit back and settle for points..
