.5 of a sec per lap would be a big deal over race lengh but none of the riders will be putting in that lap time for a full race distance.

@Painless

Last I remembered this is pre-season 2013
2005....2013 *years

now I agree that current moto bikes are really not that much better than the old 99o's so there is a lot of money spent for little gain I suspect if they allowed more brands of tyres we would have greater racing more excitement more people participating as spectators the current status quo was caused by Rossi Jumping ship from michelin in 2008

I am always astounded by the God worship I take notice of moto racers not personalities spun into childish demi Gods Love racing not the polotics

Concerning Rossi, I am not disappointed because I am not expecting him to return to his brighest days. In fact, he is performing in line with his slowly decay I interpret these 3 or 4 years. Yeah, even 2009 he was already on the downhill slope. Yet, he still one of the best but not quite there now.

i was always a big Brad supporter too. Great to see the steady progress. Also bear in mind this is quickest lap, if you ever looked at moto2 practises he consistently laps fast, whereas Marquez is the sort to put a few quicks and then its varied.

Either way, 1 second off on a 2minute lap is might impressive considering the Honda is probably fastest bike, full factory spec and Marquez had a private test here 2 months ago

ROY should be fun! Go Bradley
