Dani may have set the fastest lap time but if you want to see consistency...lorenzo scares me....

No. of laps in the in the 2 min range

Dani : 3

Vale : 1

Lorenzo : 15

WHOA !!

Lorenzo was the only one who spared time to do a long run....off the 12 lap run, 5 laps were under 2 min 1'

again this may not be as imp. since some riders just dont bother with the speed but rather the feel they get from the bike

this is only a test ride assessing the strength and weaknesses of a particular rider and the machine. surely each rider is having his own extra power and racecraft that would be shown in the raceday. a few seconds gap would not be a total indication of sure loser or winner in every raceday as there are several factors that have to considered to be a frequent winner and loser.

@bikenut
if JL, DP and Cal all set their fast laps on their 4th or 5th lap but VR has just done his "quick" lap on his 43rd lap, that doesn't mean they may have more to come as if you look there doing just about as many laps as rossi, to me it means rossi is getting faster the more laps he does on the bike, where they aren't they are hitting a wall and any setting there trying aren't really making much difference
