Hold on a minute why are you all making comments about Ducati's performance? Did you not read any of the releases or statements from the team over the close season? The new German in charge and the rest of the team have said that there will be no significant changes to the bike soon and it shall be a process of evolution over the season and next. They are basically at this test with the same machine that they had at the end of last season and given that fact I think that they are doing OK and Dovi is adapting well enough. Just what is it that you all thought had happened in the 12 weeks or so since the last Valencia test?

@Casperelli,

Good point, Caparossi was competitive and won also in 2007.

I'd like to see Melandri, Rossi, Hayden & Stoner on the 2007 ducati (with the 2007 tyres). It just may dispel a few commonly accepted myths around here.

Lucky for the common minded, that will never happen.

@Rod99 - Yes Laverty is doing better than most expected, however he and Yonny Hernandez are using Yonnys bikes at this test. Unfortunately for Laverty he will not be completing the season on an ART CRT but on a PBM CRT which is bound to have some teething troubles.

@sluggie
Ducati did say they retesting prev years components. Obviously they dont trust Mr Burgess and co.s input but with that much time behind on a lap. they have "achieved" the folowing:

1. They just proved Burgess and co. were not wrong
2. Theyve just wasted precious dys of testing
3. Are now further behind as others have moved on and they are still where they started.
