Its just testing, but Vale is 100 procent back at his best! For sure!

On the hotest conditions he did 2.00.5!

If he was on used race tires, than i guess this time boosted others attention! He is than even better with used tires if thats the case.

HE GAINED AND NOT LOST HIS SKILLS AT DUCATI!

@ tomas good

It's not about doubting a rider's quality and skills in his better days, it's about having REALISTIC concerns about the impact of age (and other possible variables like after-the-crash changes, death of a close friend etc. etc.)

there is only one tenth between vale and jorge after 2 bad years away from M1. the difference Between the world champion and Dani is more than three tents and Jorge is a much better rider. that shows the superiority of that Honda. but wait and see when Yams destroy Honda's confidence and scatter them into disarray.

This will be a humdinger of a season!!
Dani for me edges Lorenzo (just...very marginal though) as Title favourite based on his 2012 2nd half of the season & current testing form, injury permitting!
Jorge is an absolute definite contender...a monster talent and a fighter.
Anybody that thought Valentino won't be there....TAKE THAT! Championships are won on consistency....Vale is a Champion of this. He will be there at the end, be in no doubt.
Marquez? 0ne season too early but will get podiums and win the odd race or two even.
Bradley has been the surprise so far for me....2 tenths off Cal's time on his 3rd day on a Motogp bike? Impressive stuff. Hope it continues.

Didn't mean to sound like I was mud slinging. A few of the engineers on twitter thought there would be several sub 2 minute times from Honda and Yamaha, but they didn't get that low. Just an observation that no one was quite as quick as they were hoping. Not bad mouthing though.
