cal is really up for it this season and he is for sure going to get a few podiums. he obviously has talent, but it seems like last year he actually believed 'wait a minute, im onnit here' and he KNOWS this year he can kick a$s. i hope he has a great season and gets a factory ride next year. deserves it.

Only a tad slower than the 2 factory yamahas. Keep it up Cal. When's he gonna get given some factory parts which the likes of Bradl get at Honda?

From the headline I expected to read a story about a non-plussed Cal almost giving a Gallic shrug...

..but instead Cal sounds upbeat and is really pleased with his performance (as he should be! 0.6 off Dani on a satellite bike? Excellent!)

excellent performance from Cal. Really pleased to see him at the front of his actual competition and close to the factory equipped boys.

Would be nice to see him getting a bit more support from Yamaha but I expect they are probably a bit pre-occupied with the return of Rossi.

He did seem to get on nicely with Lorenzo last season and showed willing to support his title campaign so hopefully Yamaha haven't forgotten him.

yeah he is on for a couple podiums as he was last year. Dovi is out but Vale is in, so he has a chance if 2 of 4 top guys are not having a good weekend and he can hold off Bradl
