Of course you did billie coz when Dovi was winning Cal was all over his a55 making a good battle but infortunaltely after Dovi signed for Ducati Cal got the upper hand(semi works bike?) and rode off leaving Dovi way behind with no battles to speak of.

@billie morini

Give the guy a break. He may have had a few falls but you forget how much he is giving it to keep up and pass guys that have been riding in this class for a lot longer.

I have seen some big name crash, it only just him. Plus he picks himself up and carrys on with the pain.

I don't think many off us could do that.

Crutchlow said, "I expected to finish fifth."

Finishing! This is the concept he had not yet grasped in 2012. You gotta finish to win, place, or show.

To his good fortune, Dovi on the red pig. There should be no one ahead of him except the 4 he expected to be there. Too bad, I enjoyed Dovi showing him up so frequently in 2012.

I remember people saying he didn't deserve a seat in MotoGP, waste of a ride, many other deserving riders overlooked, blah, blah, blah, when he came into the championship. The same kind of remark we see now about Smith. Makes me laugh.

Sepang has neve been a strong track for Cal but his best time from this test is almost half a second faster than he's ever managed around here before. Based on that, you'd have to think the improvement curve from last year is still ongoing, and that when we get to tracks he does go well on (e.g. Brno, Philip Island, Silverstone) he'll have more to offer still.

Hopefully Yamaha will maintain a good level of support to Tech 3 this year, so that the bikes don't get left behind by the competition.
