+1 Sam, Jorge left any disdain he had for Marco on the track when we tragically lost #58, being sure to attend the service. Riders Like Dani & Jorge have always been very mature & respectful. Val gets a bad rep for playing mind games, and may have received some preferential treatment, but he too has become very humble. Marco would for sure be right up there, making this group of 4, "The Fast 5!"

If he doesn't win the WC next year WHOEVER is going to be the WC will have to deal with Lorenzo ALL year.

Did not finish below 2nd place in 2012.

Doesn't matter how one roots for any of the other 3 Lorenzo will make their lives difficult.

Without all the extra attention and love from the press.

He's a killa.

This guy is so good it's scary. Him and Pedro might be the most under appreciated riders I've ever seen. Everyone wants to sling insults at Rossi/Stoner/Spies instead. We should all love Lorenzo because he wants to WIN...PERIOD! People accuse him of cruising/playing it safe but I disagree. Sometimes Pedro or Stoner were simply too fast, but Jorge was never cruising. He and Pedro are in complete control of this series (for now). It's a shame my guys Hayden/Spies will never be as fast as Lorenzo. Oh well, I'll still be watching just in case!

"to win the title, as lorenzo has shown, consistency is the ultimate factor. Woudln't you agree? "

no
he has to have the speed to put pressure on the other racers

if he's too slow doesn't matter how consistent he is, he's going to be lucky to get on the podium

"Lorenzo's method is different to Pedrosa, that is all there is to it." what you mean Lorenzo isn't stupid enough to crash on the first lap? LOL

@jasonlewis.
That's the right attitude dude, I too was rooting for the americans, cool dudes but, they're not at the front runners level, even if they were in the same machinery. Lorenzo is in a whole different level even on an inferior bike, Pedrosa is good, and so is MM, not to mention Rossi, but the physical, mental and overall riding skills that Lorenzo has shown these past couple of years most mortals can only dream about possesing. On a personal level, he's done all the right moves to make him more likeable(paid tribute to #58, Embraced Rossi back at Yamaha, patched things up with Pedrosa, never bad mouthed his visibly slower bike, etc...)Can't wait for the test at Assen and posterior race, its gonna be awesome!!!Hope everyone enjoys the crop of talent filling the 2013 grid.

Spot on me ole son!
Couldn't agree more.
Used to absolutely detest Lorenzo and Rossi for that matter due to both their unparalleled arrogance, but you are absolutely right, Lorenzo has completely changed and has delivered an Alien level of performance that commands deep respect.
Rossi on his part has also changed but his was down to the 2 years humbling he received at Ducati combined with maturity from age. He's come to realise that what he has is a gift but the bike matters as well. He's learnt (like Michael Schumacher) how to lose which in turn has taught him to have a bit more respect for those other riders that haven't won 9 championship titles.
I now absolutely adore Jorge and Rossi and am excited by what they will bring to this season.
Having said all that, I remain a through and through Pedrosa man and pray he avoids injuries and improves on his scintillating 2nd half 2012 form which is what he'll have to do if he wants to beat the afore mentioned Aliens to the 201

Hey Django, shame you are not silent like the D in your name. But you can add it to ick and it would be more of an appropriate tag for you :P

J-Lo looking fearsome tbh, although by all accounts the Honda now manages it's fuel better so can run at full tilt pretty much everywhere which could be scary for the rest of the field.

Rossi is such a clever fella, saying all the right things in all the right places.

Despite the limited grid, this years GP could be an absolute doozy. I have bigged it up so much in my own head i am bound to be disappointed :) Hope not :)

Yeah this is true, Lorenzo since 2009 Year that Change completly, he had become one rider hard to beat because he learn to control himself and he try to be the fastest but speacly when he can t be has fast has rivals he never loss is mind he had Become so constante that he almost dont fail, basacly he never get mental impressed with other riders he just make is best and like we wach last year, Lorenzo had become one big Stone that almost never breaks on pressure.. Last year he did pass some hard moments because of Honda and Pedrosa that start to Win a lot but lorenzo could had been even more relax if Bautista dont go that crasy like it was.. like i had say before lorenzo is the Best rival for Rossi, i mean even Pedrosa dont have is consistency and wille many people is getting exiting because Pedrosa is getting more confidente i still think that he will fail at one point him 2013 i just hope he dont get injure or Even Marquez will have a chance to beat Pedrosa..eheh
