Two words:

Trellis Frame.

It's what Ducati know works for them, as proven in the pre carbon fibre era. What they have now isn't a Ducati, it's Rossi's old bike which even he couldn't ride.

Oh & Dovi looks like he's been Tango'd.

Rossi, Stoner and Hayden, three world champions went nowhere with that bike. And all you Stoner fans, don't try and say he did anything, that bike was not developed by him, he got progressively worse every year.

Now there is a man who looks completely lost. He must have gone to goods trailer and cried all night. Not all factory rides are equal Dovi. Your career at the top of motogp has officially ended just like Spies (his seems self in inflicted).

The Ducati problem really baffles me. I am not a motorcycle design engineer by any stretch of the imagination, but surely there can only be one 'best' general design in creating the fastest race bike? Surely the 'big' thing to do would be to design a bike in the same way as Honda and Yamaha, which are apparently the best of what modern technology has to offer, and the introduction of the ally frame seems like the start of that.

No?

I would like to say that they can only go up from here, but we've all seen the last two years. Something is seriously wrong at Ducati, and hopefully Audi is implementing some good changes, but it's not happening fast enough.
