@Roman
I think we can tell by his record with the Ducati who was responsible for underdeveloping the ducati(if we need to blame a rider).
Casey Stoner
2007 10 wins, 2008 6 wins, 2009 4 wins, 2010 3 wins.
2007 0 dnfs, 2008 2 dnfs, 2009 4 dnfs, 2010 5 dnfs.

Dude, so you want to blame Casey for the Ducati troubles, you dont have too, just wait 80 secs and Rossi will fix it. Remember the 80 sec comment and the Stoner never pushed the Ducati.

As you appear to be so close to Rossi, at what stage over the past two years did the 80 secs start? It has never been any riders fault.

Blaming Stoner only shows your lack of understanding of the situation and your pure hate of the man that showed the world that his talent was beyond those that had come before him.

At least Dovi understands the mountain they have to climb. I hope that they don't just go back to trying new forks and swingarms though.

Just about what they were doing last year! After Rossi and Heyden said they thought the D12 was at it's end. But no, Deltochio and his goons think the ducati has no problems!
Makes me wonder if Spies is gonna be fighting among the top places....

@Slide Rules he achieved more points in 2010 than 2009 because in 2009 he sat out 3 races due to illness, that is... FACT!!! I hope you knew that rather than trolling the net!

The bike was worse in 2010 than 2009!

well what dovi expect they have hardly changed anything on bike . we all know how Audi update there cars just change nothing. Ducati need to go back to last year stoner was there and remove the stuff they did then to fix the bike

Dovi is a good rider, but he's kidding himself if he thinks he can fight for victories on this bike.
he is nothing compared to Stoner and Rossi, i mean when was the lsat time Dovi actualy won a race.

not bagging him out, i like the guy, but he's no threat other then for 3rd position when he was on Tech 3. he will be riding in the same positions if not worse then where Rossi did

It's hard to have constructive debate with people who choose to create their own 'facts'.
Stoner achieved a higher points tally in 2010 than he did in 2009, so just tell me again how that is going backwards?
If you judge it by wins, then you must also concede Rossi made zero improvements?

TedG, Alberto Cani is a self appointed 'Auto Specialist' who's dabbled in bike journalism to supplement his wage. Like Emmet, writing about paddock gossip means he can barely differentiate a moped from a Mack truck.
To believe Honda and Yamaha arrived at this point via pure mathematics and engineering is ignorant just as believing the rapid changes in the last two years at ducati were technically driven.
There is only one rider with the development skills and the raw pace that can unlock the desmos potential, it's a pity ducati were too busy trying to keep their money in europe to see the writing on the wall. Only dumb luck will bring them success now unless they're prepared to step back prior to their aluminium catastrophe.

OK Screaming Big Bang,

I don't think the hp difference of the current generation 1000cc GP bike is too big compared to the bikes from year 2006 1000cc bikes. 250+bhp is pretty much the maximum power that the GP bikes' chassis and tires could contain (the front running 2006 1000cc bikes produced around 240bhp, not much difference). Anything beyond that is just more suitable for drag racing bikes. As the popular saying goes, power without control means nothing.

The true blame should rest with ducati and ducati only.
