A certain Mr Vermuelen stills lives about 10 miles from Cambridge in England as far as Im aware.

Also he's not got a racing contract for this season either.

He's an Aussie but if Suzuki were to say (officially or unoffically) 'We've got an Aussie' everyone would pretty much know who it was....apart from the few muppets that would insist it was Stoner :)

Just my 2p

re: "Dor(n)a that's a joke. This isn't just another team wanting to take part, it(s) another manufacturer!"

no, it's a manufacturer that treated dorna's product (motogp) like a joke.

tip: mind what you post and don't be so quick to parrot. based on what you say, others are able to figure you a laymen to grandprix. i would be one of those "others".

re: "don't they want to boost the grid numbers?"

no, you're not accounting for recent events happening in the big picture. boosting grid number is less important now that carmelo's succesfully wrestled control of WSBK. the threat once posed by production racing is squarely in his hip pocket. though this is a correct decision regardless, he is free to act with impunity till such time someone smartens up and brings suit under european competition law.
