Crash, you deleted my post which did not breach your published code of conduct which leads me to ask why?

Many of your readers agreed with the post and even some did not, no one complained or posted any negitive rsponses

Was it because it didnt glorify Rossi?
It didnt slag him off or anything

Or was it a case of over zealous moderators?

All fair questions that should have a public response

Dani is doing very well so far in these tests and i am pretty sure a few people are worried. But they wont admit it of course!
He needs to stay injury free though.I know that sounds obvious, but we all know how fragile Dani is.He will make life difficult for Lorenzo if he can stay shiny side up.

What excuses? He was 0.2 behind Lorenzo and normally in testing he is never the fastest, just like he's never been amazing at qualifying. Rossi is the best on race day, he's proved this all through his career, come the first race he'll be right there with Lorenzo.

Well it's not that bad on the 2012 bike is it, Lorenzo was on the 2013 bike and now they have fixed the 2013 bike for Vale he will be using it for the next few days.

he knows what he's got to do and that's concentrate on race set up, he's already said he needs to improve his race pace compared to Lorenzo so he's under no illusions as to what he needs to do.

Come the start of the season he will be even nearer the front so don't worry, the signs are all good and I'm confident of good results to come from Vale this year.

Marquez is fast and he should be on a missile the Honda is, Danny looks to be consistent and fast and Lorenzo the same, it looks good for the season ahead.

Dovi seeming to get the grips of it, I think he will blow Hayden out of the water this season.

Has Pirro ridden Ducati (same time with others) before and do we have any times compared to the other riders, would be nice to know if that Evo bike has anything to it which he is testing?

@ oz mick..."He made Stoner retire. Let's just hope that the young riders of today will not follow Stoners' footsteps into self pitty and quit. "

@ar86, what excuse is needed?

It was raining, he's barely 0.2 away from Lorenzo, which I might add is smaller than the gap from Pedrosa to Lorenzo. You seem like the legions of people looking for any excuse to knock Vale down when actually he hasn't done a half bad job. Marquez and Bradl though have been exceptional.

I agree! People are making it seem like he's wayyy off the mark (..and this is on the older 2012 bike), and the fact that they mention Dovi catching him is laughable. It's funny, when Rossi was on the Ducati and not far behind, people were quick to say "it's the rain", but when Dovi is close in PRACTICE, he's all of a sudden going to eclipse Rossi on the M1 and making progress. Funny stuff! Just for a moment, I wish certain people would be realistic when it comes to evalutating potential.

By and large, unimpressive stuff from the entire bunch.
Let me qualify the statement. Millions are spent getting teams opportunity to test at exotic locations and yet you have a situation where, once they arrive, they spend half of the day at least sitting on their collective backsides. Not long ago everyone bemoaned the fact that limited testing was doing the series harm. Now,they have all the time in the world, yet if everything is not 100% they sit in the box..
On average the riders put in 125 km today and they did not even have to contend with oncomming traffic. WOW !!
Then they complain they don't have enough testing time.
Rain came down and so what ? Go test ! There is no gaurantee that it will not rain on race day. Witness 2012.
