Here is a comment from a guy who sits on a MotGP bike and not a chair behind a computer.

" Ill miss Stoner as a fan. He changed a lot in MotoGP with his approach tp tests and lines on track. WE all took his reference.'

Dani could very well go close to winning the Title this year because he spent alot of time with Stoner who as a teammate was well liked by everyone and never held any info back or wanted stupid walls put up. Dani has learnt from Stoner as Dovi states everybody did.

@Slide,

Dani was beating stoner in the 250s regularly so I doubt his riding now has anything to do with stoner...something has "clicked".

In my opinion, that something was getting through the first half of the season injury free and began to not think about "what if?"

Just my opinon, i dont have all the facts you do...

Dani has never been so close to a championship until being pushed by the fastest motoGP rider ever. Dani has implied that with his comments throughout last year. Say what you want but I didn't make up the saying...
"First you must beat your team mate"
which he achieved and probably would have pushed Stoner all the way regardless of the Aussies own goal.

Oh gosh man. Stoner has nothing to do with Dani's riding ability/heart/persistence/consistency/etc. Dani has always had heart. Hell, the dude injures himself nearly every season, gets up, and keeps going.

Thanks to Casey, Dani now knows that 'heart' makes up a significant percentage of what it takes to win, even if you don't have the best equipment!
The little mans' size has always been more of a hinderance than help muscling these bikes around, so good on him, I just wish he'd had better people around him earier on in his career but you can't deny he's done a good job over the years with the honda.

Realist,i am all for moving on mate.But when clowns post such ridiculous statements as the one from Roman,i just have to respond.They set themselves up to be shot down.
I mean come on mate,Rossi gives guys fits trying to compete at his level!
Havent people learned by now that Rossi is a great racer,but is NOT the only guy on the grid who is capable of winning a championship.The sooner some people realise and accept this,the sooner the bickering will stop.

Come on man. We all know the Ducati sucks. Let's just leave it alone. Marquez, Lorenzo, Pedrosa, and just about anybody else would have suffered the same plight. Let's move on!
