Goes to show that Rossi is a decent guy as he explained that Lorenzo and Pedrosa they let up not to give away how they handle certain turns. He gave Marquez pearls that he can use and as MM's comments he appears to be a fast learner. Which isn't good news for the other top guys.

Rossi the Fox...

If he gets MM up to speed, then MM will just cause trouble for JL and DP.

VR is setting MM up to be his little spanish time-bomb. VR gets MM up to speed, MM mixes it up with JL and DP regularly, MM employs his old tactics and starts taking people out, and voila, VR sneaks onto the podium.

Rossi has something in reserve first he plays games with MM then puts a quick lap in at the end of the test there is no way Rossi will show his cards to MM if he has not got a bit left for race day.

Roll on the first race!

@ Codger
I agree! These two guys “enjoy” racing. I actually quite enjoyed reading that little excerpt because it shows mutual admiration on both of their parts. Marquez has learned that riding smarter not harder could, and most likely will, improve his riding and help his consistency. Rossi appreciates Marquez's “go for broke” riding style (more often the attribute of the young and inexperienced rider) and is impressed at how well he goes. It's great to hear positives coming from opponents.

@ the Kid
Good point as well!

@ Billace
I didn't consider that, but you could be onto something.

Thing is, IF MM starts taking people out this year, there will be some SERIOUS drama in the Paddock

I can see tantrums from Jlo and DP...jostling for top spot with MM, all while Rossi will be pi$$ing himself with laughter from just behind...like he is watching Moto2 races...ready to clean-up when these guys take each other out...

Finally a year where there may be some excitement in MotoGP
Marquez should be exciting to watch, can't wait to see him on THE bike.
Rossi back on the M1 is where he belongs. Ducati again looks horrible.
Now that we can't get SBK in the USA without bending over for comcast it's about the only 2 wheel we have worth watching (other than motocross)
