Why don't jounalists who write stuff in English not learn what a Latin speaking person means by "funny"? They actually mean, fun, as in having a good time, and not funny as in ha ha. Surely the journalist could correct this by writing, fun, and not, funny?

"For those who followed last days testing, rossi stood p7 whole day, only a few 0.01 infront of Dovi... His p4 was only because he could get a tow from Marquez, in the last few minutes. Fact."

Shake, correct me if im wrong but dont fans of a recently retired champion call that slip streaming and mouth off at just how much skill that takes? (re 2007 straight line speed diff...)

Also, you assume it was a tow, but could have MM been holding VR up on a hot lap? How close behind are you to be the difference between catching a guy or getting a tow?

Valentino Rossi loves a competative race with a good battle for the win. Over the years, he knows how Lorenzo and Pedrosa ride and more or less knows what to expect during a race. The young Marquez is a newcomer and even though Valentino has watched him and will have a good idea where the lad's strengths and weaknesses are already. Valentino isn't daft and gave Marquez an insight into how he rides round a track then sat back and watched how the youngster did it for himself and would have seen straight away what lessons the lad had learned . Valentino is the master and Marquez is the apprentice and it appears to me that the master knows just who to pass his incredible skills down to!! It's going to be very, very exciting racing this year!

Some people just will not give up with their rants about Valentino being a has been and not up to it anymore!! If these folk had watched MotoGP when Valentino first started, they will have an idea of just how he works! As they don't have a clue, then they have to be people who have only started to tune in over the last few years and might just be in for a big shock!!!

I wish folks would stop comparing rossis lap time with Dovisioso. Dovi did 1 lap under 2:02 Rossi has done a dozen to 2 dozen laps in the 01's every session. In fact he did more 01's that cal and on some of the 6 days more 01's than Marquez . Folks really want to compare a one off fast lap which I'm sure dovi was "in tow" on. Look at the numbers.? From all 6 days and see. And why does everyone think this one circuit is it? It's going to play into the Hondas favor having a lot of accel points and 2 long straights. The top 4 will switch spots more than some think IMHO .

@ Crash........What have you done to the stats under my posts? I sometimes need the edit one but I don't need the rest.
I am just curious why you have singled me out.

@ EdgarJ...Interesting thought. He didn't seem to mind a bit of fairing bashing with others when he was riding at the front end. We'll see.

Thanks Realist.
The problem is that I see a square with a black and a grey icon superimposed. What do you see on the bottom of my posts?
I am not bothered, I'm just intrigued that no one else has the problem.
