MotoGP » Laverty, PBM pull off Sepang surprise - again!

“I was just a couple of hours of track time short of matching what I'd done on the Aprilia, which for a brand new bike ridden in anger for the first time at 2pm is unreal” – Michael Laverty.

I really hope Laverty does well this year. I read somewhere that that the company that made the frame have made GP bikes in the past but I'm still really impressed how its comparing to the bikes made by Suter & FTR, cos lets face it both of those companies are gathering much more information by running several bikes in the field (no to mention the lower classes)

I wonder if they'll put both riders on the PBM bike if its out performing the ART after a few races?

Most talented of CRT riders I think, very impressive on ART
PBM bike is slowing him down
all in all in test everyone had eye on marqueze and the usual suspects but I was most impressed by Cal and Laverty both guys doing great on inferior machinery.

Good for them. Pulling off a brand new chassis/engine combination isn't easy. Good luck to Laverty and the PBM team. Love to see them pull off an upset.....nothing against Espargaro and DePuniet but this is great news if they can make the improvements they need to.

Have to admit I was one of the doubters and was sure that Laverty would have been better off staying in BSB. I'm very pleased to have been proved totally wrong and the team and Michael have done an amazing job.

All credit to Paul Bird also for putting his own money into this and making it happen.

Good luck for the rest of the year guys and I'll be cheering for you!
