@ Slide Rules...
'1.368 - The difference between the quickest Sepang II lap by a Ducati rider, Andrea Dovizioso, and the fastest overall lap time. At the first test the difference had been 2.010s.'

This is the number that caught my eye. Re our recent exchange.....perhaps it's a mixture of both?

Dave
Rossi was newer better than JLo. If Rossi become better machine (what I dont blieve it), than he have a chance vs. JLo. On equall Material, no chance.
Thats still the same "best bike" Rossi

Until joining Ducati, I don't believe Rossi ever needed the 'best' bike, all he wanted was a bike that responded to setup changes, a bike that he could trust, and a bike that he could compete on. He was happy to do the rest, wet or dry.
I say 'until joining Ducati' because we, as yet, can't say anything about this year.

That's a metronomic block of race pace laps by Lorenzo.
Truefan.

Exactly. It was his machine like consistancy that won him the title last year. And it is why i think he is still the man to beat THIS year.

The old site layout was perfect...though you don't always realize it until you change it. It may have looked a bit dated, but when something is done correctly from the start it's next to impossible to make it better. Crash has clearly taken a step back with the way news and comments are presented in the updated layout.
