@ miffy

He's being candid/realistic. This has nothing to do with Ducati. Is he supposed to jump into F1 at 36 (or older)? Who knows though. If he decides to hang up his leathers in a couple of years, he may still have the competitive itch and give it a whirl.

"What you put out there generally comes back to you (eg JB's "fix it in 80 seconds")."

Yes, everyone who has a fraction of a brain knows that Rossis and JBs comments where tongue in cheek. While we all know and even his few fans know that everytime Stoner open his mouth, its a rant in rage. Just wait mid season, Stoner will be pissing every V8 bogan with his hatred of everything about the sport he is in.

dave.... i been on other sites , mainly twitter , not a lot interesting enough to bother commenting on here lately.
race time i'll be back to give my hated opinions more often.
testing a car isn,t quiet the same as racing one in a series , i seen stoner race from back of the grid 30th to end at 14th , not bad really , he,s having fun.
not swiping at vale either , i do personally believe he wants to avoid any more compassions with casey , but thats only my opinion. get rid of that frustrating invalid character filter , not everyone has a spare hour to try find a symbol that isn,t even there.

A man like Valentino has his heart firmly fixed in the world of speed, racing and anything with wheels attached! Look how good he is as a rally driver! When racing is in your blood the way it is with Valentino, there will always be something seen as a challenge and let's face it, Vale has given just about everything a go so far. Once his days in MotoGP and racing are over - and that will be a day that I for one dread, you can guarantee he will be somewhere behind the scenes giving someone the benefit of his massive skill and expertise! Valentino Rossi will never leave the world of racing really as his heart will just not let him!!

I agree (and watched too) as stoner did well in the second race and is having fun.

The swipe at rossi is self evident, if you weren't swiping you simply wouldnt have made the comment.

stoner is gone from GP for one and secondly, I hardly think rossi takes stoner into account when deciding anything (just my opinion).

As for the "not a lot interesting enough to bother commenting on here lately" bit, again, why your original post?

Anyway, hope more people give your thoughts credit on twitter than they do on here...

@Dare to Live

I've heard of this man called John Surtees...
I also seem to remember reading that Mike Hailwood didn't do too bad on 4 wheels, either!
