MotoGP » Suzi Perry: Rossi can win, 'stick two fingers up' at the critics

"I think we could see Rossi back on the top step of the podium. That would be great, because so many people in the sport have written him off. I want him to stick two fingers up at those people!" - Suzy Perry.

Rossi will have better outright race pace than Marquez, but hes on a bike that most likely will not suite him, so hes got that working against his race and single lap pace. Marquez spent a lot of time setting his bike up during Sepang while Dani did the mule jobs for Honda and still Marc could not beat one of Dani's less intense lap times.

Rossi has his hands full, but I have no doubt if he were on a 2010/2011 (w/ 1000cc) bike he would be much more competitive with some chatter on the front issues like Honda. There is a big reason why Spies lost so much pace last year, and its gonna dig in to Rossi unless he adapts or gets Yamaha to look at what a mess they made, and 'lucked' out last year with Bridgestone's tires selection.

So Jorge, Dovi and Crutchlow could ride the Yamaha at a good pace, yet Yamaha has made a mess?

Brilliant logic.

Rossi showed in 2006 he couldn't ride around chatter, and that was with special tires from Mich. To think he could do it on the Honda is laughable, especially considering he proved he couldn't ride around the problems of Ducati.

Yamaha gave Rossi a brand new M1at the start of Sepang n his backup was Ben's old bike, going to Austin he will have 2 new M1's, to work with. both Bens are now fully retired show bikes.

I'm wondering if Yamaha will convert to the seamless shift transmission like the Honda's have by seca as both Jorge, n Rossi have expressed interest in.

Such a pity MotoGP couldn't tempt Suzi Perry back to its coverage. She is a universe better than Mat and Azi. She gets the riders to speak clearly and in a relaxed way because she is intelligent, interested, has knowledge of the sport and is beautiful. F1 viewing will go up because of her, there being little else to make it interesting. MotoGp viewing figures will struggle unless The Doctor can get on the podium. Being fast isn't enough. Casey, Lorenzo and the flying midgets i.e. Pedrosa and Marquez just don't have charisma. Rossi does, oh and he's FAST.
