MotoGP » Suzi Perry: Rossi can win, 'stick two fingers up' at the critics

"I think we could see Rossi back on the top step of the podium. That would be great, because so many people in the sport have written him off. I want him to stick two fingers up at those people!" - Suzy Perry.

The only positive for Rossi was that he had an injury free two seasons. The styles/technology have changed so, for him to win will be more difficult because electronics play such a big role where previously in the 1000's they were not.

Anyone who knows racing that writing Rossi off is a foolish move however, for him to come back and win right away with Lorenzo in such form will be difficult but certainly not impossible. At a minimum, he will need this season to relearn the M1. He will win some races but as far as the championship, there's a chance but odds in his favor will require some bad luck on Lorenzo's end...and that's no way to win a championship...think back to 2010 when Rossi broke his leg...came back and won a race and seveal podiums.

Jake Humphrey being replaced by Suzi, there is no way she can fill his shoes. BBC continue to put people who can't present themselves very well let along a sport like F1 or MotoGP.

Toby, Julian, and Mamola should replace
Cox, Parrish, M Roberts and Azi Farni

“Rossi should never have left Yamaha in the first place. Easy to say now, but I think I said that at the time.

Didnt we all love!
But thats water under the bridge now.Can Rossi win this year?
Of course he can,he is back on the title winning bike.I EXPECT him to win some bloody races!
If he doesnt, then we want to know why.

I think, Rossi can win more than 1 Race. But this season will be not so interesting, I think. Maybe it will be interesting for few Rossi fans, as he starts his mind games in middle of season. But, its not a sport, its only show.
Rossi as winner, possible, he was often in Top6 on Duc, cause the frontmans crashed. It could happend again...

This year no rider is an out right favourite to clinch the title, twist, turns and few heart breakers are all on the line, lots gonna happen, usually championship race will narrow down between two riders as the season goes past halfway mark and there will start the intense duel,, but this year it will not be the same, because the top four guys are all looking good, so the points will split among the four and no one really jump ahead and run away with the lead dramatically sooner in the season,, this year championship fight will take time to narrow down bt two, so Rossi can use this four way battle to his advantage to get some more time on the bike to push to the ultimate limits and you fans boys don't panic if the doctor doesn't make a dream comeback....

As expected JL and DP will carry forward their rival from where they left last season and the points will split equally between the two,, Rossi will make new epic rivalry with marc for the last podium place and will have to surge ahead of marc in the season's midway,,, now enough time on bike for Rossi and no excuses to start hunting the rivals and teammate down, bring together all the experience and the characteristics of a champ and being a ruthless warrior, takedown others to win some bloody races,,,

By this time marc being a learning would decide to safely settle for forth in the season...
DP would crack under pressure mounted by the yamahas
Intense ivalry bt the teammates will reignite,, and we know who is the master of last moment high voltage battle,, History will be made despite the odds been stacked up against the Doctor... 10th world title and a miracle isn't it? True champion and a genius moto racer....

Suzi is right on many points but I think it's JLo and Pedrosa as the guys to beat. No brainer that Rossi should have stayed with Yamaha but give him credit for trying to make it work at Ducati. It should be a more competitive year compared to recent years. Go Rossi!!!!

Totally agree with Suzi.
The thing that would make this a memorable year in Moto GP for me, would be Rossi having a couple of wins, Marques riding like i think we think he will, dejavu maybe!
and of course Suzi back on the grid.

Agree it would be nice to see her do interviews on the grid as she's easy on the eyes. But back to Rossi, while I'm a fan I'd be shocked and very happy if he won the Championship his first year back on the Yam. If he wins a few races and makes it competitive where he's always in the mix it will be a positive year for him even if he doesn't win the championship.
