Rossi didn't “walk away without looking back”. He fulfilled his contract and the results didn't come fast enough for him to remain on an uncompetitive bike for his last few years in GP. I'll read the article for myself, but it's hard for me to believe that Ducati are backtracking on the fact that they almost explicitly stated that Rossi's outburst last year had merit. Hell, they even went as far as to seek out Furusawa for advice.

Read my statement again. This isn't about me knowing the "inner workings". Rossi made public statements. Ducati's words and actions supported Rossi's statements. WE ALL had multiple discussions about it here and on many other motorsports forums last year. I am stating what is fact and can EASILY be researched. If Ducati is backpedaling now, people who don't have short memories will catch it.
