@the truth. You clearly having learning difficulties. So capirossi developed the bike and won oh hang on no championships and Rossi beat stone once at Laguna out of about 4 or 4 trips there together which stoner one 3. And as @ph3nom points out to you Rossi couldn't get near stoner at the island for wait 6 years in a row. Since stoner is the only ricer ever to tame the Ducati then get on the Honda which pedrosa has had for 6 years and get the championship straight away I think dispels your stupid comment. Rossi fans are so delusional

Capirex is a great development rider ? Is that why he turned the Suzuki into a joke. The minute they sacked himand Alvaro took over as number one rider they started progressing. For those posters predicing fantastic racing ahead, just forget it. The bikes are on the limit all the time, whoever gets the best setup usually wins.

@nate
read what i type and not what u want to read! i dont have a problem with stoner as a rider on the contrary...u have problems with rossi because u r a stoner fan. i am a MotoGP fan dude i am not a rossi fan alone. i appreciate all riders because they give me MotoGP to watch. I try to be objective. when i see something I say it as it is.capirossi was past his prime before Stoner even arrived at Ducati. Capirossi is the one who developed the 2007 bike and after he left they took a very very very wrong direction and yes in 2007 Stoner was mostly fast on the straights with that Ducati. Best engine by far in 2007 and one of the top 3 bikes overall. on battles Rossi is the best because his heart beats are about 120 and the other riders are about 170. u read the facts my friend. the guy is not normal that's why he kicks A55ES respect that for a second. stoner is really fast, a lot of times spectacular, not the best on battles and he is mentally WEAK. RAW REALITY!!!

Wow,

Andrea Dovizioso just put into words by the end of 2 tests what Valentino Rossi couldn't explain in 2 years.

And for a lot cheaper too. Maybe he's pushing that little harder?

@The Truth

Could you be anymore wrong, mate?

Ducati didn't take "a very wrong turn" after 2007 as you put it.

The reality was that all the other factories woke up and made considerable progress in the off-season before 2008. More specifically, they all upgraded to pneumatic valves to compete with the desmodromic valves, and everyone got Bridgestones.

Every MotoGP championship is won with a "top 3 bike" as you stated. Believing anything contrary is naive, almost infantile. As of today, there are only 2 bikes capable of a championship, yet Stoner gets flak because he was on one? And in 2012 he gets beat by the other bike capable of a championship - so what?

Everyone agrees that Ducati does ZERO updating during a season and minimal updating year-to-year. So how can you blame that on Stoner? He still rode the hell out of the machine and made it look better than it ever was in all reality.
