Sasha, agree with you, talent has an hardly stoppable tendency of rising to the top more or less quickly.

My only point was about that "more or less".

Electronics has an effect on the learning curve and make that rise somewhat quicker (and possibly less dangerous too due to the possibility of limiting rookies' crashes).

I read an interview recently with ( I
forget - may have been Edwards or
A.N Other top racer ), where they
were saying some riders find GP bikes
easier to ride fast than Moto2 bikes,
and it's wrong, and it's' to do with
Corner speed, lines, braking etc are
the same principls as with smaller
bikes, but magnified a little. Power is
double, but they can pin it and not
worry.....Electronics killing GP...... I
want to see the best riders on the
fastest and hardest to control bikes.
Might not be what Honda etc want,
but it'd make good telly

Yeah right,Mike.totally agree with you.But the way u said it is rather reminds me of Rossi's years on ducati.Fast and hard to handle.I hope u didn't imply so.

its not if some guys are good with the electronics, is if some guys are getting 'factory support' and proper given enough talent to configure the software to drive the bikes.

MotoGP as it is now will favor the factory riders as they will always have an advantage with electronics. MotoGP is 'rigged' this way, people complaining about seeing the same people winning but wanting the 'Traction Control' to stay are hypocrites.

Here we go again, whenever someone fast turns up that puts others to shame people start firing electronics this and electronics that.

Like someone else said i thought last year MM had something going on. It would appear the kid has some pretty big talent.

Oh yeh, if you really don't want the sterile safe motogp enviroment you could always watch the irish road racing (search it on youtube).

when stoner was posting times with big margins over the rest he was considered boring , MM is doing similar yet its considered exciting .
somehow everyone thinks MM is going to provide great racing despite clear evidence he is going to fade into the distance just like stoner did!!
this will be a great year in the history of fandom mentality showing it has never been about races being boring.

@pp916: yes, that extra day for teams new to the circuit would help the teams, make the weekend safer, and make for a BETTER SHOW...!!! (?Hello, Dorna, ?!?!?)

Surprised a little but not too surprised that Honda was leading to start this private test. I originally thought that Pedrosa would be leading to start but as Marquez is a new fast guy I'm not surprised he's pushing the edge first. But as they get more time on it the other veterans should surpass or at least get much closer. I'm not surprised that Rossi is taking it easy and probably methodically figuring out how to attack this new track.
