Ich is right and Sasha is wrong, electronics make it much easier for the skilled and talented rider to advance more quickly than prior to electronics era. I'm sure you can add other equipment improvements such as tires, brakes and suspension that also help new riders to the Motogp class do better.

However don't misconstrue my above comment Maquez is a very talented rider and obviously will be a factor in the championship race. But for those quick to jump on the bandwaggon this is only a test. When the racing starts we'll see how much of a factor he'll be. I still think that Pedrosa and Jlo will be the top runners in the championship race especially if Pedrosa can stay healthy. Rossi and Marquez won't make it easy though.

Trying to compare a 500CC two stroke, 180 HP machine to a 1000CC for stroke with 250 HP is like comparing apples and manhole covers.

There is no "easier" to ride machine in the category, it's all relative to the technology available at the time. Take today's tire tech and put it on a 1990 500CC 2stroke and the lap records from that time period would be demolished.

Today's racers are althletes, compared to the old days when the riders drink and smoke. You can take all the elctronics out of the bikes, and the finishing order will not be very different. The riders use the electronics because they are there, if they weren't there, they would still be at the top of the time sheets. Talent always rises to the top and top talents get the top rides.

According to Yamaha have decided that they definitely won't take part in the last day of testing 2morrow. Really don't understand why they would willingly give up an extra available day of testing, especially at a track that according to all the riders who are there, is very difficult to learn....

Stoner was boring
Marc Marquez isn't boring that's truth. Marquez is fun to watch on the bike and rubbing and racing.

And people don't count out Rossi for the title fight he's not out of it. It will be a four rider fight
