@ realist. texas...? qatar...? the season...?

if texas, we all know that's mar'z. no real prediction there. watching the repsol video, marc clearly makes no distinction between dunlops and bridgestones? his M2 and a million dollar prototype? other than the speed differential, he doesn't care. and speaking of speed, that's what's driving him. he's addicted to the adrenaline response. you can see it. he's danglin legs and draggin 'bows with nobody around?! the kids got ZERO form in the classic sense of a shwantz or a corser. he's just hangin on to the bike like a monkey! :) giving him a 213 is no different than giving an addict a loaded syringe. oh, he doesn't care about times either. fast laps are simply a byproduct of his body trying to keep itself pumped full of chemicals. lap after lap his inner ear (basically an accelerometer) naturally flushes out the line that allows him to hold the most throttle. if he's not feeling positive G's? he ain't happy. must go faster.

If JL wins this years WC, it'll be his riding that deserves the kudos IMO.

Honda have all the toys and budget and a tech advantage, and the rules have been 'influenced' to maximise their budget advantages with the outright lie that is 'cost-saving' by cutting the motor count to 5 from 6 for the season. I keep saying it, but a rev-limit would save a fortune directly and indirectly, but that would remove Honda's advantage. So......

JL can only win this years WC with his ability to run at a very high pace so, so consistently - so that his overall race time makes up for the fact that his bike cannot run an outright lap-time as impressive as the HRC's.

We will see if JL's metronomic ability and pace are enough in 2013 to retain the WC. If it is, then it will be truly impressive IMO. Right now, DP should maybe be the Fave IMO (just).

-IMO, JL has always won in the past thanks to his consistent riding and bigger picture strategy. He knows he can't beat Honda by winning every single race, no one can with Honda's current dynasty.
