Not sending the team and bikes for some much needed track time and development is right up there with "We did not feel last years bikes had reached their full potential, so we have started this year with last years bikes"

that pic has factory superbike effort written all over it...!!! :) honestly, the 1199 could do with a 2 team effort (4 works bikes). i mean they got the 2 team approach right, just got the series wrong. :( they were so close.

I think is a very shrewd move by Ducati!
They know that with the bike they have they arent going to challenge for podiums so why spend a fortune on testing there like Honda & Yamaha did. A few laps on a Panigale should let them find a line or two so they can start dialing in the set-up on the GP bike on day one of practice. This "launch" was at the right track at the right time! Shame they still dont stand a chance in the race :(
