"CotA management requested I leave the track immediately... CotA's security force also accused me of criminal trespass and warned I would be arrested the next time I entered the track" - Kevin Schwantz.

re: "And since when did Kevin become a track designer? He single-handedly designed the track... Wow narcissism grows with age."

that's not what he said. that's simply what YOU interpret him as saying. the term for this is known as "spin".

20 odd years ago there was no overall "promoter " involved in motorcycle grand prix racing, I think they were better times

the riders didnt get paid much and there were not as many races but back then it was a sport and all involved were respected

"BTW, he only won 1 WC so how does that make him a LEGEND, I thought you had to win 9 to be that, well thats what is normally posted on this site lol"

@averageatbest,

You have been absent the past 3-4 years, its not the number of WC that make you a legend, its down to being able to win on a ducati....catch up:)

PS - couldnt help myself, only having fun:):)

doesn't have to be einstein. a judge's discretion gives him the freedom to rule. and inside this discretion is how it all went "pear shaped" for Walmart, Target, AT&T, Electronic Arts, PepBoys, etc (names vastly bigger than COTA btw) to the tune of $100's of millions.

And they have what to do with this case? Oh yeah, nothing.

So again, having your name mentioned in a press release has zero to do with a binding, working, legal contract. You do know what a contract is right?

I think the best action the fans to do about this (apart from boycotting it outright) would be to hold a huge "Schwantz #34 Legend" or similar banner at a place that would be impossible for the camera not to capture.

"I have single-handedly", LOL!! Old Kevin is delusional. You are suing them and you are then surprised that they don't want you on their premises?

Again, completely out of touch with reality OR just a very persistent troll to garner sympathy and demonize his "enemies".

This COTA Schwantz position is no good for the sport. If #34 had the appropriate ticket for the event then he should have been allowed to continue the day. Demanding he leave the circuit or face being detained by employees of COTA is an action that could mean jail for members of COTA. If Schwantz were detained and regardless of offences being alleged, if he were found not guilty (very likely) then he is within his right to begin a counter prosecution and senior COTA officials would have to stand up in court with all sorts of nasty words being said to them, such as "Unlawful imprisonment, assault & kidnap" all carrying a jail term. Don't joke about the last one, if a person is physically restrained and removed from the scene - and the Police didn't do it - it's kidnap until unproven, afterall, the defendant doesn't know where he is being taken nor for how long. Grow up and stick to written notification.

If there was in fact a binding contract between COTA and Mr. Schwantz, and COTA broke that contract than screw COTA.

If Mr. Schwantz is upset at the fact that COTA did not need his services and he is trying to save face than screw Mr. Schwantz.

Again, no one knows all of the facts. No one here was sitting in the meetings during the decision making process.

Personally I do not believe Mr. Schwantz is "single handedly" responsible for bringing Moto GP to Texas.

I owe nothing to Mr. Schwantz or COTA in either case.
