Can.t beleive the comments on here saying rossi should retire.. before the season.s even begun..what a ****.. ITS TESTING DOES NOT MEAN A THING.... We all know rossi is more famous for starting 4th-6th even 9th and coming back on RACE DAY.. Not when its testing... RACE DAY is all that matters...When the bloods pumping and presure is high....Any true VR fan knows His skill is incredible when it matters.Like late braking. Going inside riders when its not exspected . hunting and stalking ..He's see it all before..been there and done that,..And you better beleive race day he will be doing it again.. He never lost his mojo..

Rossi cant retire. Hes a MotoGP Puppet. If he doesnt gain Lorenzo, next seaosn Ezpeleta give a ultimatum to yama, they should give Rossi far, far better bike than JLos. Thats usuall between Rossi and rest the world.

Wow such B/S
Reality check racing is also about the hunger and i for one think there are at least 3 that have more hunger than rossi but his share racing skill will ensure he is up the front end

@steve IF rossi top today practice would you said that same thing??? NO, you would said ''yes, the return of the king'' and other similar stuff..
46 fans claims that it was wet so isn't so important... well if it wasn't so important then why rossi did over 30 laps??? wet was for 99 26 and 93 too... and they bettered rossi and not only they... 46 fans said that it wasn't important but for 99 clearly was since he bettered the session... so it is normal that in the same team one rider to work less while the other one works hard?... at the jerez race rain may occur, so this test becomes very important...
@daniel k weak chances m8... ezpeleta isn't in that position to give an ultimatum to yamaha... if yamaha retires it will be Honda MotoGP.... and if yamaha agrees Jorge will go public and will be some really bad publicity for the sport...

I agree that Rossi may pick a win or two but will struggle to ever bag a championship again. Just to stir people ... He should go test in a supercar and go gra to head with Casey once again, if he couldn't match him on a bike late career, he would no doubt give him the whipping of a life in a supercar.

@sun like i said its only testing. If rossi had been top of the pile.. i still would.nt care. Its all about race day not riding around following each other. And that.. like praticeing playing footballl. scoreing penaltys all day long but when it matters the presure on thats when you muck up.. Its testing . Thats when rossi comes into is own.. And if been watching GPs long enough you should know that by now..ROLL ON RACE DAY thats when it matters..

Not surprising the comments on here but always glad to see Dacron posting (and first off the mark as well).

As for the results, first day (in the wet) of a TEST PROGRAM so they are what they are.

2 and a bit weeks to go...cant wait !!!!!

I think almost everyone was saying in 2012 that ducati was why Rossi was doing so bad. I disagreed. I was saying that even if Rossi was on ANY bike he chose, he'd still come in 5th or 6th. He is on the Yamaha and is 6th and, 2 ducatis in front him. and worse yet, they are not even ridden by Stoner.
