Been away all weekend. Just logged in to see Rossi on top of the timesheets. I read the conditions have been iffy, but still it wasn't what I was expecting.

Lorenzo you expect to up there (though he's probably smarting a bit to have #46 ahead of him?).

Cal's position though (and so close to the 2 Factory bikes) is a tremendous effort and result, while Dovi's effort is superb also.

Yet to listen to some, guys like Cal are purely 2nd string and not as fast as the 'aliens'. I say perhaps they ARE as fast, but the factory bikes have an unfair advantage. I'd say that Cal's performance in Jerez suggests he's got the ability and begs the question what could he do with equal kit to VR and JL.

@ ACES HIGH
"I see Dovi takes good advantage from Rossi's previous year development work on Ducati!"

Good grief - there's always though who can't wait to glory-hunt for Rossi eh? Pathetic. Last test its all 'Ducati didn't listen to VR, Ductati bike is a POS blah, blah, blah. Then, one sniff of a good result, and its nothing to do with Ducati Team and a fine ride from Dovitsioso - oh no - its all thanks to Rossi.

The bike's virtually identical to when Rossi got off it we're told. Yet Rossi didn't perform highly on the Ducati, and he sure wasn't 'developing' a bike for someone else to perform on. Give credit where its due (here's a clue - how about the guy who rode it today).

Just a matter of time about how well Rossi developed the Ducati.
It has nothing to do with the fact Dovi might be able to ride the flaming thing.
No one gets any credit other than the beloved one.
Stoner was lucky he had the fastest bike with the best tyres now Dovi has a great bike developed by the master.
You guys ought to be in Vales PR team.
