Strex, Bradl already has a factory spec bike, and lets be real, its not as if there is a world of difference between factory spec bikes and satellites. the factory riders are where they are mainly due to skill, not their bikes. Just look at dovi, 1 win in three years on a factory honda, but a lot of podiums.. last year on tech3, 6 podiums on a satellite and keep in mind it was a yamaha not a honda. even spies' perfomance in 2011 was not THAT much greater than it was in 2010 when he was on a satellite. it has more to do with rider skill over machinery..

those wanting to see Spies further up the timesheet will have to wait a bit more... apparently he's still not 100%, however unlikely that may seem. Obviously he's not going to force things to risk another injury, but yeah, he's gonna have to start pushing real hard soon if he wants to get good results. he's definitely much faster than this, but I think he needs some more time.

And I was there to see it!!! :-)

Go VALE!!!!

He looked to be riding well within himself today, as did Jorge and Dani... Marquez was wild, amazing to watch..
Hondas sound amazing, Yamaha sounds like its about to explode and the Ducatis sound like nothing else...

Great day even if I did have to ride home in the rain..

where are all the people who slagged lin jarvis off for not saying marc marquez was gone to be in the title hunt ?now this track is more about the rider than the bike ,the austin performance was more about the others not willing to push with no grip ,ie not a race weekends worth of rubber down with only a couple of riders circulating, glad to see rossi back on top hope this year will be a great spectacle and so glad to see all the rossi bashers havent gone away like there bloke stoner did , i bet there all gutted with this result today, its only testing nothing to get your knickers in a twist about. but you must be really hating it?????

@ Johnson

I take your point about skill and I know the top four guys would have had to prove themselves in the lower series to get the ride in the first place. However there are naturally talented guys out there who look like also rans because there is not enough factory machinery to go around. Can you imagine giving guys in a rowing race a head start because they were deemed talented and a lighter boat because they could afford it. Maybe I am saying MOTOGP shoud be like MOTO2.

I like how close the lap times are! Unfortunately these guys didnt get as many laps on a good dry track as they want. Vale on top is good for his confidence.
