Hey @DoctorCrash46

Lorenzo did a pretty good job of handling the M1 for two years . It was rossi who developed the m1 from nothing to a competitive machine . Rossi , Furasawa , Burgess . All lorenzo did was inherit the bike and tweak it for the race weekends .

strex I get what you are saying and I agree crutch really is talented, but would you rather have a guy who hasn't yet won a race or had a pole or a rider with 9 world titles to his name on your team? part of crutchlows situation was bad timing. But even if rossi would have stayed with ducati, I still think dovi would have had spies' seat instead of crutchlow even though crutchlow had a years exp on dovi with yamaha.

motogp needs to be more like moto2 i agree on that also. right now there are 4 riders in the 1.39's 4 in the 1.40's and 11 in the 1.41's so there is deifinitely some improvement from last year. hopefully suzuki will return and honda and yamaha will start leasing out engines. that would also help bring the group closer together.

@ Johnson,

Lets forget about Cal even if he has proven to be a fast rider. My real point is that i want a more level playing field, I know you would agree with that. As you say Suzuki possibly returning and Kawasaki, happy days ahead.

@ yellowdoc while rossi was busy making the ducati worse than when we got it, 99 has taken the reigns at yamaha and still holds them to this day. he is their #1 rider now and for the first time in his career, rossi is #2. justify it any way you want.

Apart from Rossi's good comeback to the top of the timesheets, my main notes are:
1 - Why have the times been so bad througout the pre-season? Is it just the weather? These are 1000 cc with a season up their belt so they are seasoned by now. Is it thebridgestones?
2 - Dovi is doing well, much better than I expected and might prove a surprise or two.
