@.alfalfa you know what i mean ..Don.t take it out of context.. The opening rounds always used to be in europe.. Where the motorcycle racing is much more fun to watch long long ago before quatar came on the scene, huge crowds, green hills full of thousands of bike fans all around the ciruit.. As for your comment you know quatar is just full of rich arabs who use MOTGP TENNIS GOLF FOOTBALL F1 all top sports to get the attention of the world to show how rich they are .. When quatar came on the scene,,,,The opening round became boring .. When in fact it should be the most exciting to watch..Its too hot in the day and sandy on the track.. So just to keep the 1st round They did the night race.. Rather than pass it on let someone else have it..or change their date (1) Because they can afford it because their mega rich (2 )Hide the fact there's no-one there because its in the desert....Who wants to do a celebrating lap when theirs no crowd around the track..YOU WIN THE RACE.. YOU

Its just testing and as a rossi advocate Im happy. Again, just testing but a couple of points,

To those spousing Jlo's race simulations were mental blows to rossi, Im not sure who is more worried now that 3 official tests down the road and Rossi is (for the first time) fastest.

To the haters saying hes over and should retire, doesnt say much about Jlo, Pedro & Mark then, does it!

The only thing you can rationally take from pre season testing is a guide for who is going to be competitive or not and well, rossi is going to be competitive. A competitive (confident) rossi is a dangerous rossi...

Missing the posts from Dac's, Slide, Aussie and Fraud...come on, where are you guys???

@Steve,
why do you hate Arabs?
Why does Motogp only have to be in Europe?

Your not going to get 100,000 pple always showing up to races in Europe these days cuz Europe is broke

Such a sad attitude Steve, such a sad attitude

The real story of the test is not Valentino or even a Yamaha top three, it's Dovisioso getting his Ducati to within .8sec of Valentino's time, now that's progress!

To borat. no.one said anything about hating arabs. I just said i would like to see the opening round in one of the europe tracks.as it used to be for years.where the atomosphere is much more exciting. And nice to see big crowds all round the track. waving cheering.. party time..Who's going to do a burn outand showboat if there's no people round the track... anyway roll on race day,, stop going out of context

@Paddles,

Nice attempt at diversion but many a time Rossi got the duc to within .8 & .9 of stoner, pedro and Jlo and all the talk was how past it he was and how embarrising it was and how owned he was by everyone.

No, duc still crap and rossi has proven that beyond rational doubt now.

@Dave
I am Glad Rossi Is doing so well at this test.and a test it is .......I hope it translates to exciting racing this year Yet returning to the ducati Story
If Stoner had been on the duc people would have been .8 or .9 from him Yes Stoner was a special Rider with incredible talent ..... Yet the real Story will always be That Rossi didn't have the talent to ride the duc the way it needed to be ridden what ever story you make up you can never get away from that fact Yes the Duc needs to fix its chassis so less talented riders can win on it also cheers enjoy the racing

@Brits,

Ducati needs to be fixed full stop. Nothing to with talent. Without igniting the whole "his is better than mine" crap, if stoner so talented compared to everyone else, he should have won 08, 09, 10 & 12 BUT DIDNT.

Stoner was not the only one to win on ducati (Bayliss & Caparossi also won), stoner simply "made hay while the sun shone" so to speak.

If ever there was more credible evidence it is that rossi now fastest on latest results. Is rossi more talented than Jlo, Pedro and Mark?
