To be honest with you Mike i would have to disagree to a certain extent. I believe that no matter how good you are or how successful you have been as a rider,to go 36 races without a victory is bound to leave you with some dents in your confidence. Its human nature. To go from winning multiple races every year in your career to suddenly winning none must have come as an awfull shock to the system. We are going to have to wait and see how long it takes him to bounce back.A few good results and a taste of champagne may rejuvinate him.But i think he has definately realised how tough the competition at the top is going to be this year.

Reality...You silly, funny man,you make me laugh!! Cannot wait for this season. I'm actually putting a bet on tomorrow that Marquez will be Champion this season. My opinion is that he is a VERY special talent. In any sport there comes along once in a while someone who see's things in slow motion and is so much better than their rivals/peers. I believe he is that man. I am a great Rossi fan and am sooo pleased to see him on a competative bike. Come on Doctor, lets race. The boys at the front have done little of that in your absence. Rossi is that good that he can still win. Count him out at your peril.

The only way Rossi will be on the podium is if mark Marquez falls off. Rossi should be more concerned about battling with bradl and Crutchlow for 4th place.

99 crystal ball - I would agree with you more if he hadn't finished both years as th top Duc, as well as the only Duc rider to not have been injured by the bloody thing :-) maybe a good compromise is to say that he hasn't lost confidence in himself, but gained it in his rivals?

Nice to have an opinion, even if it is completly wrong!

I can't belive how many people on here are either new to this sport, have short memories or have just been left with the stain of bitterness from the Stoner years.

Annoying as it may seem to people Rossi really is tht good, bla bla he's always had good bikes etc etc but so have many others that have achieved nothing in comparison.

Why dont some of you try asking other riders if they think he's too old, or cr@p, see what the answers are.

Sadly though even from the horses mouths wouldnt be enough for the "experts" on here.

I think theres gonna be lot of bitter people topping theirselfs after this season finishes!
