@ florence, i,ve been watching gps for 40 yrs. still go to 2 or 3 a year. Rossi is one of the best i,ve ever seen. Stoner had more frames in his honda in 1 year than rossi had at ducati in 2. he asked for a complete ally frame as soon as he arrived and got basically a ftr moto 2 frame which was all he had till he left. the guy gets on with it. pay cut of 12 million this year, you think he went to ducati for money.? The man is a legend and to berate a guy of 34 who wants to race and can still mix it is childish in the extreme. Most people who know racing don,t come near this site anymore because of all the uninformed drivel that,s posted but i thought i,d give it a last go. All the haters are saying now he won,t win, last year they said he was a tailender. Hope he wins sooner than later!! Lookin to a great season and rossi to finish in top 3 which will be a good achievement at his age and after the 2 years he,s had. Sit back and enjoy and most of all. learn something!!!!!!

@ jp34.

The post you wrote is pretty well on the money, but the thing I like to rub in the faces of the uneducated that said,
"Rossi burnt his bridges and will never get a ride on Honda or Yamaha again"
Well look at where he is and how he's performing.
Enough said. Oh hang on, GO ROSSI you legend.

@ Facts,
Titles on 125, 250 & 500 2-strokes=check. Titles on the 990 4-strokes with back-to-back titles on different makes=check. 800cc back-to-back after a 2-year hiatus=check. How many consecutive race starts? 230 +/- setting the record=check. Hmmmm. Seems his talent doesn't quite equal his ambition! The only thing exposed when Vale went to Ducati is that he couldn't ride that one bike. Jeeesh! Drag him out into the streets for some retribution.

@ UNREALIST,
I've not said a word against Stoner. Only praised Vale for his accomplishments. Get your facts straight before you lump a group of people together when a rider you hate is admired. I had a friend years ago, 2007 to be exact, who loved playing devil's advocate. It's easy to jump on a bandwagon, but harder to stick with your rider through a tough period. I actually wish Casey will return one day. His race craft is dead level with Jorge I'd say. His speed could be said to be even greater. PI 2012 was superhuman! He chose to leave, and that is the smartest choice a professional racer at this level can make when their heart is no longer in it.
